Witney, Oxfordshire 59.4 x 84.1 This piece was inspired by a fungal growth on an ancient oak tree within the landscape of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. Initially drawn out with ink applied by a stick it was then developed through the application of acrylic and oils pastel with some other techniques as it progressed.Pete was born in 1979.Lives in West Oxfordshire, UK.Pete creates mixed media works inspired by the natural world. Primarily ancient woodlands. Pete looks for areas of these landscapes that are overlooked and seeks to show these through his creative practice.Pete is a Lecturer and since 2008 has worked with students across a broad range of creative practices.
