This is a 3 by 4 feet drawing (92 by 122cm) made with oil paint on canvas telling the world the need to empower the female child. Every female child should be seen and treated as a princess and a queen to be. I am Ibiyemi Olamilekan Okanlawon, a 29 years old self-taught traditional artist from Kwara state Nigeria and I reside in the island area of Lagos Nigeria. Although, I don?t have any academic background in art but my love and skills in art grew rapidly as a result of the crave for knowledge.My artwork is all encompassing from telling the world about the sacrificial love of mothers, to the need foremotional stability, cultures around the globe and currents happenings in the Society.I am committed to creating beautiful art pieces that preach mental wellness to the world and this is noticeable in most of my works. Art to me is therapeutic and I enjoy my art creating process. Lagos, Nigeria
