Oil paint on canvas, stretched over second canvas pulled and held with 3,4 ply linen thread , edges painted in alternate black and white paint. Attempting to re-visit in paint a memory of a fleeting moment from the past is the elemental driving force for my studio practice.Focusing on a fleeting and momentary perception surrounding a reminiscence.I am not concerned with literal translations within the work, as there is no precise formula for memory?s understanding , the paintings are a composite, embracing the atmosphere mood and colour and light of a remembered ?moment?I have been painting for over 30 years, I have a fine art diploma and a BA Honours degree in Art and Design, Until recently I have sold to mainly private buyers, now on Curator Space I have been invited to show my work in several galleries including Royal Cambrian Gallery, and am currently shortlisted for entry into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
