Resilience has been painted to register the will to overcome difficulties and gather strength as one deals with adversities. When I look back to the extent of my career, it is easy to see the absolute importance of art inspiring choices, posing challenges but also bringing me balance and joy. I consider myself so fortunate for the different fields of art ? from painting porcelain to cinema production, which have made my career consistent and varied at the same time. Along with music, working with textiles has become a definite passion that spans for the past 20 years, both for the intrinsic beauty of the natural fabrics as for the glimpses of pure magic, images that would unfold before my eyes during the painting process. My work has been seen at galleries both in the UK and in continental Europe as well as in South America. High Wycombe 90cm x 90cm Watercolour and metallic resist for details applied onto medium weight silk, measuring 90cm x 90cm, unmounted and shipped rolled and protected.
