SHIPS FROM Sheffield, UK Two men are shown with an atmosphere of tension between them. The painting was inspired by the 1999 film Beau Travail, directed by Claire Denis and set in a French Foreign Legion outpost in Africa. Unframed. ARTIST BIO I live and produce artworks in the Sheffield area. My preferred mediums are oils, watercolours and occasionally acrylics. My subject matter is usually people at work and play but also some landscapes, cityscapes, still life, commissions, etc.
