Ships from Nottinghamshire, United KingdomOil on Canvas, 100 x 120 cmThis striking large-scale painting captures a young Native American man in a moment of quiet contemplation. Seated confidently on horseback, his gaze reflects a wisdom beyond his years as he ponders both the present and the future. In the distance, beams of light break through thunderclouds, while heavy rain falls, creating a powerful contrast with the sun’s warm rays that illuminate his chamois attire. This piece masterfully conveys the dramatic shift of weather and the timeless resilience of its subject.Artist Bio: Jakob’s passion for art began in childhood, encouraged by a junior school art teacher who nominated him for a scholarship. However, his independent spirit and reluctance to conform to traditional rules meant the scholarship never materialized. Despite his occasional dabbling in art over the years, each piece he produced was distinctive and original. As a teenager, Jakob’s rebellious streak kept him away from art for a time. But when he did create, his bold, expressive pieces garnered attention, with one striking work quickly purchased by a team at the London Stock Exchange. This success reignited his artistic drive, and Jakob began working with London galleries, selling his art internationally.Jakob’s work spans from modern to classical fine art, showcasing his versatility. In 2024, he’s focused on creating evocative Western-themed pieces that capture the atmosphere and spirit of the Old West. A limited number of these captivating works are now available to collectors worldwide.
