SHIPS FROM Bridlington UK A circular moment of acrylic and emulsion. Pinks, greys and yellows combining in an exact record of how they came together in that moment. A joyful dynamic and uplifting piece on 50 x 50 cm deep edge canvas. ARTIST BIO Sophie Hannah Walker is a multidisciplinary artist, using paint, drawing, photography and stitch on canvas or recycled materials. These disciplines often overlap during the creative process. She creates a variety of work from colourful abstracts depicting the emotional landscape, to pencil on paper and photography and collage.Sophie studies the relationship between the creative process and how it makes us feel and what we learn about ourselves on the journey. She has a Diploma in Modern Psychology and Certification as a Creative Mindfulness Practitioner, which she now implements in her artworks. Recently she has introduced a range of works available for commission. This uses the artwork to convey positivity to the environment and the viewer in a way which is personal to them and will enhance their disposition in an uplifting way.Originally from South London, Sophie now lives on the Yorkshire Coast. She regularly exhibits locally and nationally and online, in 2019 she was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
