ARTIST BIO Sophia Chioma Azoige is a multidisciplinary artist residing in River state, Nigeria. Was born in the year 1996 in Ikom . Grew up in Gboko, Benue State. Studied Fine and Applied Art in Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Port Harcourt, River State. Inspired by the beauties of human existence alongside her life experience, she attempts to translate beauty and calmness to a broad spectrum of people, also believes life is a journey and one could encounter strains. Human experience and express emotions in order to react to, interface with, and adapt to the physical and social environment , discussing issues of surviving in our community, the trauma and emotional imbalance .The ability to manage and modify one’s emotional experiences and expression is thus important in everyday life. This led to the necessity of using colors, loosely detailed human forms and lines to express the message on canvas.Sophia Chioma Azoige has participated in group exhibitions. Port Harcourt
