Living Artists Contemporary Art Auction
Lot 127:
The painting and calligraphy were independently created by Mr. Sinong, using the extremely difficult "Cuan Baozi" font to write the "Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra". The two rubbings below the painting are derived from Dunhuang stone carvings, perfectly integrating calligraphy with traditional Chinese painting and the inheritance of gold and stone, reflecting the great realm and wisdom of Buddhism. The calligraphy is simple and heavy, and the lines of the paintings are beautiful, making it a masterpiece of the author. The size of the work is 50cm * 98cm. Wang Jianwei, pen name Sinong, is a famous Chinese calligrapher and art critic, a leading figure in contemporary "Cuan Baozi" and "Statue" calligraphy styles.
