The year 2020 is one of the most difficult years as COVID-19, suddenly froze our creative act and numbed almost every aspect of our normal life as we know off. As an artist, my humble mind was wondering how to put these into my creativity and began some painting to explore my inner self. This painting titled "Blue, Black & White" is a metaphor for what I have experienced myself and around me. It reflects the emotions, sorrow, pain, and the unknown reality of what we become. Abu Jafar (Visual Artist / Sculptor) is an acclaimed leading British International artist and Philosopher of the arts. He is living and working in the United Kingdom.Born on March 21, 1968, in a small village called Jhilna, Patuakhali, Bangladesh. He studied Philosophy of Arts, at the Open University 1997 UK. Art and Art History, Goldsmith?s College, the University of London, UK in 1991/92. Master Drawing of the human figure – Guildhall University, London in1989/90 UK and Fine arts, painting and drawing at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh 1984/89.In 2021 became a member of the Visual Artist Association, in 2011 became a Fellow of Digswell Arts Trust, UK, in 2008 became a member of the Sculpture Network and in 2007 an associate member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. In his words:?I gather elements through my emotional experiences, then transform them into the art forms, which could incorporate anything and everything that?s around me.? – Abu JafarTaking inspiration from psychology, philosophy, classical music as well as day-to-day human existence. By producing art that is far from traditional, He is actively attempting to shatter staid ideas of the past regarding art; his art is the synthesis of the colour, element, and presentation twisted into unusual forms. Most of his large-scale Installations involved nature, the public, and the environment. Jafar artworks simplify our daily lives and the diversity of mankind in his imaginative notion in a way that reflects imaginative power and the ever-changing creative flow of new formative arts. His sculptures are about celebrating our ever-changing curiosity of mind and symbolise the beauty that keeps us wandering in every step we make and every angle we look. It is an endless journey to find a betterment of our unknown needs. The journey in which we are going through our hopes and visions each day creating a new chapter and looking forward to seeing something more that is undisclosed. Some of the structures of his sculptures signify metaphorically the letter H for hope, and the window of the structure signifies a window of opportunity driving endlessly forward.
