Lot 233:
Wine Oclock is a whimsical oil painting, it portrays a dapper rabbit who seems to enjoy a glass of wine at any time of the day. He wears a formal suit and a bow tie, and holds a pocket watch in his other paw, as if to check the time or to remind himself that it is always wine o?clock somewhere. The painting uses bright colors and expressive strokes to create a lively and humorous mood. The rabbit?s face is full of character and charm, inviting the viewer to share his joy and indulgence. I am an artist who marvels at the art of living. My name is Anastasiia Novitskaya, and I wasborn in Ukraine. I have had a passion for drawing since childhood. All the time I was in search ofmyself, I was not interested in listening to lectures, so I drew sketches in my notebooks. In2014, I started studying oil painting at the Kyiv Art Gallery, where I created my first 20 paintings. In 2015, I moved to Poland, where I devoted myself entirely to art. I studied contemporary art bymeeting local artists and learned new painting techniques. During this period, I opened my owncafe in Krakow, where I held exhibitions of my works. In 2022, I moved to Genoa, Italy, where Iwas inspired by the sea and learned to convey the feeling of being near it. My sunsets havebecome more sensual and brighter.I love to experiment, observe, and discover new aspects of familiar things. I am constantlysearching for myself and my place in this world. Simple words cannot convey all the nuances ofemotions and experiences. For me, art is a way to transfer feelings, connect us together, andtake communication to the next level – the emotional level. I believe that art is an attempt toexpress the inexpressible and should invoke a sense of wonder. Genova, Italy 40×50 cm oil on canvas
