This is the first painting in my series inspired by coral reefs which support 25% of all marine species and are severely threatened due to warming seas caused by manmade climate breakdown. It is on canvas board so would look at its best framed Jacqueline Talbot is from Carshalton in Surrey and it is where she still lives. She has a BA in Printmaking from Croydon College and an MA in Fine Art from the University of East London. She is predominantly interested in the natural world and the structures and connections that are inherent within from a microscopic to a massive level. There is a lot of bright colour in her work and she aims to create a harmonious balance between the many colours and forms within the composition. Through her work she hopes to inspire in others the awe that she feels about nature and its interconnectedness. She uses a variety of media including acrylic paint, oil paint and oil pastel.
