SURREY. ENGLAND 60cm x 60cm I love the freedom allowed by the abstract genre. I choose the colours and let my intuition take over. Living in England we have a lot of rain -and have grown to love it. The amazing sounds of downpours pounding out a beat on the rooftops and the earthy odours after. I?ve imagined City Suits dashing out in their lunch breaks for a quick sandwich and coffee, trying to keep dry, as rain speed up their time for freedom.I started painting again during lockdown, after many years of abstinence. I also took up online meditation, which stimulated my imagination. It was cathartic. I couldn?t stop. I?ve painted 151 artwork to date – and still ongoing. I entered an artwork for The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. It was accepted and sold on Celeb Preview Night. Since then I?ve had 2 solo exhibitions and many artworks accepted by galleries.
