Witney, Oxfordshire 84.1 x 59.4 This is was inspired by ancient woodland in West Oxfordshire. Initially drawn out with ink applied by a stick it was then developed through the application of acrylic, oil pastel and graphite. Some areas are more impasto. As the title hints at the work is an investigation into ‘conjunctions’ within nature.Pete was born in 1979.Lives in West Oxfordshire, UK.Pete creates mixed media works inspired by the natural world. Primarily ancient woodlands. Pete looks for areas of these landscapes that are overlooked and seeks to show these through his creative practice.Pete is a Lecturer and since 2008 has worked with students across a broad range of creative practices.
