Lot 230:
The oil painting "Rain Sounds" portrays a moment when the sounds of rain on glass transform into profound reflections on life. In this painting, raindrops become a metaphor for our aspirations and regrets, which can be both visible and hidden.
Perhaps through the rain-streaked window, we see not only a natural phenomenon but also a reflection of our thoughts and emotions. Each drop can represent a drop of regret or sadness, as well as a drop of hope or inspiration, depending on our internal state.
The rain depicted in this artwork reminds us of the constant flow of change and emotions in our lives. It invites us to pause for a moment and observe this flow, acknowledging its continuous movement and variability.
Thus, "Rain Sounds" not only invites the viewer to meditate and embark on an inner journey but also serves as a reminder of the value of every moment in life, whether it carries joy or sorrow, embodied by these raindrops. An artist from Ukraine, currently living in the UK.

A new round of creativity came with the beginning of the war in Ukraine and forced emigration to England in 2022.
Here art became for her an opportunity to reach a new level of dialogue with the audience, to talk in the language of art about the fragility of this world and the need to preserve everything beautiful that has been given to us by nature and God. Lincoln, UK
