SHIPS FROM Leicester, United Kingdom 60cm X 85cm An orchestral depiction of a flower under dramatic light. The shadows are painted in blue and lights in a warm white. Although this painting is primary of aqua tones there are slithers of fuchsia within the inner core of the flower to compliment the subtle greens. This is a painting of elegance and drama. As an artist, I document my perspective and relationship with natural structures through oil paint and charcoal. My paintings often present vibrant with dramatic contrast, tantalising colour combinations, complex curling and rippling structures and a play on depth of field.
