SHIPS FROM Granada, Spain Last summer (2023) I spent a week at the beach in Conil, Cadiz, Spain. Inspired by the beach and the reflections of light in sand I painted a series of pictures (on my website in the "Reflections gallery", www.dfspaintings.com) I am an English artist who has been living in Granada, Spain, for the past twenty years. During this time I have used various media, and my subject matter has varied from human figurative paintings, to landscapes, portraits, social commentary and more decorative work. I have recently become very interested in printing.
