Lot 198:
SHIPS FROM Windsor, UK In "Teach to Fly" I have tried to picturize the deepest parent-child connection. This piece has a close connection to my own life as a mother. Must try hard, despite the calamities of life, to go above and beyond! Mansoureh was born in Iran, 1987, to an Azari family. She lived 24 years of her life in Karaj and learned about the fundamentals of oil painting under an experienced art master. Due to family restrictions, she couldn?t pursue her dreams through academic educations in fine art and instead, got her BA in English Literature; Although she never detached from painting as that was her sole desire. She lived in India for another 8 years of her life and faced challenging circumstances. She created her first collection during those years. Her migration to UK in 2018, opened up a new chapter in her life by easing her way down an artistic career. Meeting Jonathan Greenyer opened up new doors for her. She became a member of the art group, Windsor Artists Collective, in 2021, and exhibited often locally. In 2022, she was awarded highly commended artist by Eton and Windsor Plein Air Competitions, and ever since tried to indulge more in outdoor painting, but due to undesirable weather conditions in UK, she spends most of her time in her home studio. Her main and favourite medium is oil. She also creates mixed media art pieces occasionally to express her feelings on tragic events which leave a deep impact on her. Nature is her main motive.
