SHIPS FROM Coral Gables, United States Cyanotype mammogram with embroidered minesweepers. Mammogram was taken to diagnose cancer; the images resemble water, and the search for cancer invokes feelings of hidden bombs. Kim Moore, MFA, is a visual artist in Miami, Florida. Her practice focuses on her life, a life lived in, during, and around art. She works in series, usually on several pieces at a time, in different stages of completion. Her works range from abstracted oil painting still lifes, to silk painting using the Serti method, to working gesturally from life with Conte crayon ? and everything in between.
