SHIPS FROM Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Its a puppet character from the Malay shadow play originated from the Indian Ramayana which had been adapted by the Malaysian traditional story-tellers and performed as Wayang Kulit. The moving puppets are handled by a single dalang (puppeteer) on a back-lighted white screen. H.A.Khan studied fine arts in the Malaysian Science University (USM) in mids 1970s where he took up art history, drawing, painting and photography. He also studied scenography and theatre directing in America. He took part in arts exhibition in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and his works had been exhibited in the National Art Gallery.
