SHIPS FROM Manchester UK The painting is signed at the back and ready to hang as canvas is stretched over lightweight Birchwood panel A1 size (33.1 x 23.4 inches) and 2 cm deep. Through physicality of earth, I want to reach what is spiritual and transcendent, truly vital to life. Thus, for this painting I mixed soil, raw earthly pigments, and cut grass with clear gesso to expose the roughness of my hand stretched canvas, and I symbolically juxtaposed it with celestial blues and purples, shimmering glitter as glimmer of hope, seeds and blossom like shapes as harbinger of life, and threads to link and reconnect. I am Polish born, Manchester (UK) based artist Master of Contemporary Fine Art (University of Salford, UK 2023). My work explore in between the spiritual and the physical realities. Rooted in nature and concepts of interconnectedness, my otherworldly landscapes and dreamlike situations embrace organic shapes, vibrant colours and textures. The perception of everything being interconnected is the concept that underpins my work.
