SHIPS FROM Granada, Spain This early oil painting depicts three "elongated" boys sitting by a fictional lakeside in Rajasthan, India. I spent a month in September and October of 2006 travelling around Rajasthan with the express purpose of collecting material for a series of pictures. This typical gangly body type in these waterside poses I came across often and was inspired to paint. I am an English artist who has been living in Granada, Spain, for the past twenty years. In this time I have used a range of media and explored many subjects, including social commentary, landscape, portrait and more decorative art.
