Living Artists Contemporary Art Auction
Lot 202:
SHIPS FROM Sheffield, UK A blacksmith is at work at the anvil, hammering a piece of hot metal which will eventually become a small kitchen knife. In the light conditions of the forge, his leather apron appeared to be a patchwork of irregular pieces sewn together. I extended this idea to include the blacksmith, anvil, etc as pieces assembled together. ARTIST BIO I live and produce artworks in the Sheffield area. My preferred mediums are oils, watercolours and occasionally acrylics. My subject matter is usually people at work and play but also some landscapes, cityscapes, still life, commissions, etc.
Condition: Good, as in the images
Dimensions: 50 x 40 cm
