SHIPS FROM Worcester UK As a child walking along the prom by the seaside in Worthing I was particularly drawn to the Forte ice cream parlour. The star of their show was a Knickerbocker Glory. I never had one and so during lockdown in the UK I created my own version. The painting was inspired by all the painted rainbows of hope in people?s windows at the time. ARTIST BIO Nicola Currie is a British artist based in Worcester. She specialises in floral and still life oil paintings combining traditional methods with a contemporary style. She has exhibited widely in the UK including the Mall Galleries, the RBSA and New Gallery Walsall.
